Most recently, Sarah led a team across EMEA, providing wellbeing and mental health support to employees while working with a global technology client. She lived in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates before returning to Ireland in 2020. Sarah joined the CIPD in Singapore; her role was a combination of research, thought leadership communication, and engagement with professionals. Prior to joining the CIPD, Sarah worked for Emirates Airline in Dubai as a contingency planner. She has worked in the intellectual disability field in Ireland for several years.
Sarah holds a PhD in Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast, which investigated the influence of emotion on the understanding of risk. She has a BSc in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Psychology.
