Pathways to Education for International Protection Applicants and Refugees

Published: 7 Nov, 2024

We were delighted to have representatives from UCD, NUIG, TUS Athlone, TCD, DCU and DkIT attend our information session on ‘Pathways to Education for International Protection Applicants and Refugees’. This took place on 1st October on Grangegorman campus. This session provided an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and best practice regarding educational pathways for individuals in the international protection process. Thank you to Grainne Ward, lecturer in Humanities, School of Social Sciences, Law, and Education for providing very practical and useful information and clarifying complex terms and topics. We are delighted to share a valuable resource that outlines the International Protection Applicants Supports available to International Protection Applicants and Asylum Seekers who are interested in progressing to higher education.

Thanks also to everybody who attended, we look forward to continuing this important conversation.
