PATH 3 Information Session
TU Dublin is running a project called Programme for Access to Higher Education (PATH 3); the aim of which is to support traditionally disadvantaged groups to access Higher Education.
We are organising a series of Community Information sessions to introduce the PATH 3 project to local organisations who also work in disadvantaged/marginalised communities. The session will introduce the programme, outline the work we’re currently doing and discuss ways that organisations can get involved.
We are particularly hoping to invite community organisations located in Dublin 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 15, 22 or 24 who work with the following groups:
- Second level students or adults who are socio-economically disadvantaged.
- Irish Travellers.
- One parent families.
- Young people in care/care leavers.
- People with disabilities.
- Minority ethnic groups/programme refugees.
- First time mature students.
The information session is online (30mins + Q&A) will include:
- What is the PATH 3 project: aims & objectives, current activities.
- How your organisation can get involved in the project and what are the benefits.
Sessions take place on:
Thursday 8th September, 10am & 3pm
Friday 9th September, 10am
Monday 12th September, 12pm
Tuesday 13th September, 3pm
