This module will introduce learners to the practical elements of community development activity, building on the principles of community development covered in semester one. The module will introduce learners to the ‘doing’ of community development. Learners will be introduced to the role of the practitioner and activist, historical and contemporary developments and debates, and the tools to apply theory to practice.
