Are you curious, imaginative, active and inventive? Do you like team projects and problem-solving? Then the mix of electronic, electrical, computer, robotics and mechanical in this course will offer you plenty of opportunities to thrive.

You’ll spend over 50% of the contact hours doing hands-on, practical assignments, tutorials and project work in well-resourced, state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops.

You’ll study a wide range of subjects, from Algebra and Geometry, Professional Development for Engineers, Engineering and Electrical Science, Mechanics and Computer-Aided Design to Instrumentation, Design Methodology, Automation and Computer Networks."

Work Placement: You’ll have the opportunity to gain work experience through an industry placement at the end of Year 3, lasting 8-10 weeks.

Further Study: On successful completion, you will be eligible to enter Year 4 of the B.Eng (Honours) in Mechatronic Engineering in TU Dublin.

I chose Mechatronic Engineering because I like observing things, trying to figure out how they work, what they are made of and how they work together.  The reason I picked Mechatronic Engineering is that it covers a broad section of Engineering. Every day I learn something new.
