Graduates in mechanical engineering are in high demand for their ability to design machines and think innovatively. Mechanical engineers are typically creative, can think logically, have excellent problem-solving skills and manage a project in a systematic manner. Mechanical engineers are involved in almost every aspect of our day-to-day life. Their innovation and design has brought us powerful cars, efficient household appliances and entertainment systems. They combine principles of mechanics, materials and energy to design faster automotive, aeronautical and robotic systems.  This two-year programme, which is firmly rooted in the mechanical engineering industry, will introduce you to engineering principles and subjects such as engineering graphics, mechanical science, electrical practice, fluid mechanics, machine dynamics and robotic systems. You’ll learn the language of engineers and begin to think like an engineer. In our laboratories, you’ll face real-world issues, and your preparation and training will equip you for jobs in industry, particularly in the technician and maintenance fields.
