Engineering Reliability Management is an engineering discipline which allows graduates to work in a mechanical /manufacturing/electrical engineering maintenance environment in high-tech multi-national companies as well as traditional indigenous industries and public utilities. Graduates will acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to operate effectively in an environment where diagnostic and applied engineering skills will be valued and rewarded. 

The function of reliability engineering personnel has changed in the past two decades which has resulted in demand in industry for an integrated multi-skilled, flexible reliability/maintenance technologist, with expertise in the complementary disciplines of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and computer applications.

Professional Accreditation
Graduates meet the Technician Engineer level requirement of Engineers Ireland and following a suitable period of practical training, can qualify for Associateship grade of Membership of Engineers Ireland.

Further Study
If you successfully complete Year 2 and do not wish to progress to Year 3, you will receive a Higher Certificate Award. On graduation from this programme, you may qualify to progress to Honours degree programmes in TU Dublin.
