To take part in placement, students must undergo the Garda Vetting process through TU Dublin.

This internationally recognised programme will equip you for a career in the early childhood care and education sector in Ireland and many countries around the world. It’s taught through lectures, tutorials and practicals.  The course subjects include child development, drama and movement, the sociology of childhood, child-centred practice, health & wellbeing, safety, art & music, early learning, childhood and social policy, outdoor learning and risky play, and child psychology,

You’ll complete a work placement in Years 2 and 3 so that you can apply what you’ve learnt to the real world of early childhood care and education.
