On the CAO application, the student applies for TU772 Bachelor of Business (Common Entry).
At the start of Year 1, the student decides which area of Business they wish to focus on and transfers to one of the following Level 7 courses:
Are you unsure what area of business to go for? Our Common Entry Business course will give you the time you need to choose the right specialism for you.
You can apply for a non-specific area of Business on the CAO. After registration, you’ll take part in a special induction/orientation programme that highlights the differences between the business courses. At the end of orientation, you can choose which stream of study you wish to pursue.
In Year 1 you’ll be offered a choice of 5 streams:
Students who choose the Information Technology electives in Year 1 will have a choice of the Business or the Business and Information Technology stream in Year 2 and subsequent years.
Students who choose the Language electives in Year 1 will have a choice of the International Business stream or the Business stream in Year 2 and subsequent years.
The Accounting and Finance stream is available from Year 3 to students who have chosen the Business stream in Year 1 and Year 2.
