Applying for a course through the CAO can be a daunting process and this time can sometimes be marked with indecision and uncertainty for all involved. Key Dates
It is important to be aware of the key dates of the CAO application process and to ensure that all deadlines are met when submitting an application. The main dates to be aware of are detailed on the CAO website.
We will host a series of open days throughout the CAO season where you will get to see our state of the art facilities and meet our lecturers and students. We will also host online information events, all of which will be detailed on our CAO Hub - TU Dublin CAO Events.
Key Tips
EU applications for full time undergraduate courses at TU Dublin must be made via the Central Applications Office. The standard closing date for applications is 17:00pm on 1st February. Late applications opened on 5th March, with a final closing date of May 1st. Applicants will need to complete their application as per the guidelines in the CAO Handbook.
Depending on the type of applicant, the application process will differ slightly. Please see various Entry Routes to TU Dublin.
Applicants to the CAO may choose up to 20 courses on the list (10 courses in the Level 6/7 column and 10 in the Level 8 column). It is advisable that course choices are listed in order of preference and that applicants keep their options open by listing a range of courses.
