This course also facilitates current employees that are looking to up-skill and potentially move up within their area. Applicants require a level 7 award or equivalent in computing or a cognate area.

The Cloud Computing with DevOps programme development follows consultations with existing industry partners. It addresses an identified shortage of formal skills in IT Automation, Architecting for Public Clouds, Cloud Architecture in general, Development Operations Skills. Graduates of this programme have strong technical skills that are in demand. In keeping with the ‘doing’ approach in TU Dublin Tallaght graduates will be in a position to build, analyse, configure, automate, make secure and manage the IT resources in an organisation with a particular focus on Public/ Hybrid cloud architectures.

Graduates of this programme will have specialised knowledge and skills positioning them to compete for sought after roles such as:

  • DevOps Engineers
  • Security Specialists
  • Cloud Solutions Specialists
  • IT Automation Engineers
  • Site Reliability Engineers

In addition, general IT operations and support roles will be available to graduates of the programme
