This course is a 12-week online Strategic Digital Marketing course, held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, to unlock the secrets of digital marketing. From the transformative power of AI and the intricacies of SEO to the foundational elements of a rock-solid digital marketing strategy, we have got you covered. But that is not all.

Enhance your decision-making with analytics, ignite your creativity through design thinking, master the art of email marketing, and grasp the dynamics of e-commerce and UX design. Your grand finale? Conduct a situational analysis of a company you are passionate about and draft a game-changing digital marketing plan, harnessing all the expertise you have accumulated. It is more than just a course; it is your digital marketing journey redefined.

Applicants should hold:

  • A Leaving Certificate with a minimum grade in Maths O6/H7; English or Irish O6/H7)

OR

  • A full Level 5 or 6 award

OR

  • Meet TU Dublin assessment criteria for mature entry

Each week lectures will be delivered by academic experts or senior industry practitioners, giving students insights into the latest thinking and practice in Digital Marketing. 

The key areas covered in this diploma are: 

Digital Marketing Strategy   

Builds the foundation of the programme, enabling learners to design and develop a digital marketing strategy which responds to real world challenges and opportunities.       

Conversion Rate Optimisation  

As competition intensifies and costs of acquisition increase, digital marketers will need to develop strategies that will maximise CRO effectively.

Search Engine Marketing 

SEM is a key tool for accessing audiences using search and PPC advertising.

Design Thinking   

Design thinking enables learners to develop user centred solutions, vital not only for the UX but also for developing personalised content strategies.

Immersive Technologies in Marketing 

Immersive and experiential marketing is becoming more mainstream and will be vital for enabling brands to create virtual and inperson experiences facilitated by technology.

Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Digital Marketing      

Innovation and entrepreneurship drive new marketing strategies. Entreprenurship encourages agile and innovative behaviour for marketers.

Social Media for Business     

Social media remain a key channel for marketing communications with customers and being able to use it effectively and appropriately is vital to marketing success.

One of the most established digital marketing communication channels and still one of the most effective. Marketers benefit from understanding the power of email and how to use it to its maximum effect.
