This course will equip learners with a strong understanding of the business applications of immersive technologies and spatial computing. These are emerging technologies which are set to impact significantly on business strategies in the coming decade. Participants will explore the use-cases for immersive technologies in a wide variety of vertical markets such as education and training, manufacturing and creative and media sectors.
Using 'no-code' software, participants will develop a proof-of-concept augmented reality application which will be researched among target customers. The course can be delivered in a hybrid format, and it is envisaged that a portion of the course will be delivered over 3D virtual spaces to enhance appreciation of the metaverse as a new space for learners.
