This course focuses on the development of a new food product and is a synthesis of the theoretical and applied knowledge in developing a new food product. The aim of this course is to deepen the skill and knowledge base required to produce a successful new food product.

Applicants should hold:

  • Level 8 Honours degree in a related discipline or equivalent qualification.

4 contact hours per week (48 in total), plus self directed learning. Timetabled days to be confirmed.

Assessment will be by means of a report, a showcase and a poster.
