Cocktail MakingDéanamh Cocktail

This course is eligible for 50% funding through the HCI Micro-Credential Course Learner Subsidy. Please refer to the fees and how to apply sections for specific details and eligibility criteria.

This programme aims to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and historical background of the various major cocktails categories, how to effectively use cocktail equipment, how to efficiently make cocktails with quality and consistency, how to create new cocktails and deepen the understanding of new cocktails making styles, which include classic, flair and contemporary styles.

Applicants should hold:

  • A Leaving Certificate with minimum grades in Maths O6/H7; English or Irish O6/H7

OR

  • A full QQI Level 5 or 6 award

OR

  • Meet TU Dublin assessment criteria for mature entry.

3 contact hours per week plus self directed learning.
