Successful completion of the Gao Kao (高考) with a minimum of 75%

Successful completion of the Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate (高中毕业证书) Grade average of 80% in the final year results

Successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of one year of Bachelor Degree overall average of 70% or above with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school.This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Requirements

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 80% is required in Maths, 82% for Engineering/Computing/Science programme.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 82% is required in a Lab Science subject

TU Dublin Programmes in Engineering/Computer/Science: The HKDSE Diploma should include at least 5 subjects.  Students must obtain Levels 5 / 4 / 4 / 3 in English Language / Mathematics / Liberal Studies / Chinese respectively. Any electives should be passed with at least level 3.

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme a Level 4 in both the Compulsory and  Extended Parts of Mathematics is required.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum Level 4 at elective level in the appropriate Lab Science subject.

All Other TU Dublin Programmes: The HKDSE Diploma should include at least 5 subjects.  Students must obtain Levels  / 4 / 4 / 3 in English Language / Mathematics / Liberal Studies / Chinese respectively.  Any electives should be passed with at least Level 3.

or

HKDSE plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation  or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65% 

or

Successful completion of one year of Bachelor Degree final grade 2.5/4 with relevant subjects  at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Ijazah - Sekolah Menengah Atas/Madrasah Aliyah (SMA/MA)(Certificate of Graduation from Academic/Islamic Secondary School) will not meet TU Dublin minimum requirements. Applicants with this qualification must complete a recognised Foundation programme.

TU Dublin will consider Diploma II (D2) (or higher)

Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate (高等学校卒業証書) Irish NFQ Award Class - Leaving Certificate Irish NFQ Level - 4 / 5

TU Dublin will also consider an Associate Degree (短期大学士)

Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate (高等学校卒業証書) - Final exams should include English language, Mathematics and one other language

or

Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate (高等学校卒業証書) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of an Associate Degree (短期大学士) with 70%/Good/C overall with relevant subjects to be considered for direct entry

or

Successful completion of one year of Bachelor Degree 60% overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Requirements

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 4 is required in Maths, 5 for Engineering/Computing/Science programme.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 5 is required in a Lab Science subject.

Certificate of Higher Secondary Education will not meet TU Dublin minimum requirements. Applicants with this qualification must complete a recognised Foundation programme.

TU Dublin will consider the Ensino Secundario Complementor or Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC)

Certificate of Higher Secondary Education plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of Ensino Secundário Complementar with good grades on a considered on a case by case basis

or

Successful completion of Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) as per course A Level requirements

or

Successful completion of one year of Bachelor Degree or Licenciatura 2.5/4 CGPA overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

TU Dublin will consider:

• STPM Malaysia Higher School Certificate 

• Cambridge Overseas Advanced Level Examination A Level

• UEC Unified Examination Certificate (Senior Middle Level)

STPM Malaysia Higher School Certificate minimum 3 Principals A to C final year results must include English and Maths and another language

or

STPM Malaysia Higher School Certificate plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Cambridge Overseas Advanced Level Examination 'A' Level as per course 'A' Level requirements

or

Successful completion of UEC Unified Examination Certificate (Senior Middle Level) with 75% and 80% for Engineering/Computer/Science programmes.

or

Successful completion of one year of Bachelor Degree with 2.5/4 CGPA overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of ‘C’ is required in Maths, ‘B’ is required for Engineering/Computing/Science programme.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of ‘B’ is required in a Lab Science subject

University Entrance Certificate with National Certificate in Educational Achievement Level 3 with minimum of more than 80 credits with a majority of Achievement with Merit in subjects to be studied at higher level

or

University Entrance Certificate with National Certificate in Educational Achievement Level 3 plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum score of Achievement with Merit is required in Maths at Higher Level. Must achieve Achievement with Excellence at Higher Level for Engineering/Computing/Science programmes.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum score of Achievement with Excellence at higher level is required in a Lab Science subject.

High School Diploma (Grade 12) (Academic track) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of a 2 year Diploma or Associate Degree 80% overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

or

Successful completion of two years of a Bachelor Degree with 75% overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Singapore 'A' Level as per course 'A' Level Requirements

or

Singapore 'A' Level plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of a Singapore Polytechnic Diploma. Students who achieve a C grade average may be considered for year one entry (a few exceptions will apply for certain departments and this option will not apply to certain programmes). This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis

Junior College Diploma/Junior Vocational College Diploma 

Successful completion of the 고등학교 졸업학력 검정고시 (High School Graduation Equivalency Examination) with a minimum of 80%

Successful completion of the 고등학교 졸업학력 검정고시 (High School Graduation Equivalency Examination) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of Junior College Diploma/Junior Vocational College Diploma with a 2.8 GPA or above with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis

or

Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor Degree with 7o% overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Junior College Diploma

Successful completion of the 高級中學畢業證書 (Senior High School Diploma) with a minimum of 85%

or

Successful completion of the 高級中學畢業證書 (Senior High School Diploma) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of Junior College Diploma/Junior Vocational College Diploma with a 2.8 GPA/70% or above with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis

or

Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor Degree with 70% overall with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Mathayom (MAW) 5 or Mathayom (MAW) 6 will not meet TU Dublin minimum requirements. Applicants with these qualifications must complete a recognised Foundation programme.

TU Dublin will consider Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree

Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree) with final grade of 54.5%/2.5/CB, must have final grade of 64.5-74.4%/3.5/BA for Engineering/Computing/Science programmes.

or

Mathayom (MAW) 5 (GPA 3) or Mathayom (MAW) 6 (GPA 2.5) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%

or

Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor Degree at a recognised university in Thailand with a minimum GPA of 2.6 or above depending on the subject area and the recognised institution attended in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Requirements

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 3.5 is required in Maths, 4 for Engineering/Computing/Science programme.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 4 is required in a Lab Science subject.

Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông (THPT) (Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma) will not meet TU Dublin minimum requirements. Applicants with this qualification must complete a recognised Foundation. 

TU Dublin will consider students who graduate with the Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Phổ Thông Trung Học (Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma) from one of TU Dublin’s recognised Schools for Gifted Vietnam. These students may be considered for direct entry to certain programmes on a case-by-case basis. 

TU Dublin will consider students who graduate with the Bằng Tốt NghiệpPhổ Thông Trung Học (Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma) from one of TU Dublin’s Recognised Schools for Gifted Vietnam. These students may be considered for direct entry to certain programmes on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible for direct entry applicants must:

1. achieve the required GPA in their year 12 results from one of the listed gifted/specialised high schools 
2. satisfy the English language proficiency requirements. Applicants with a GPA below 8 are not eligible

Applicants must provide the following:

• A certified copy of the school report/academic transcript with year 12 results in Vietnamese and English translation.
• A certified copy of the completion letter from the school in Vietnamese and English translation which clearly indicates that you have completed the Vietnamese High School Graduation Certificate (Bang Tot Nghiep Trung hoc Pho thong).
• Evidence that you meet TU Dublin’s English language proficiency requirements 

or

Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông (THPT) (Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma) plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%    

 or

Successful completion of 1 year at a recognised university in Vietnam with a minimum GPA of 2.6/4.0 or 6.5/10.0 or above depending on the subject area and the institution attended in addition to completion of senior high  school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Requirements

• Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 7.5 is required in Maths, 8 for Engineering/Computing/Science programme.
• Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum grade of 8 is required in a Lab Science subject.
