Evaluation Panel & Assessment Criteria

  • The nomination forms and CVs received for the early career and established career researcher categories [1 and 2] will be evaluated by an external awards panel comprising 3 members. The panel will be chaired by the Head of R&I for Engagement and Impact, whose only role will be to minute the meeting and record the outcomes.
  • The nomination forms received for all the other categories [3-10] will be evaluated by an awards assessment panel comprising
    • Faculty Dean or their nominee x 5; Principal Investigators who sit on the R&I Academy x 2; Head of Innovation & Knowledge Transfer; and Head of Societal Engagement.
    • The panel will be chaired by the Head of R&I for Engagement and Impact, whose only role will be to minute the meeting and record the outcomes.

There will be 1 award per category.

The Evaluation Panel will assess the nominations using the following criteria for categories:
