We have a multidisciplinary team of people with a proven record of accomplishment. They are internationally recognised experts, and through their specialist groups have the expertise to engage in projects that can be pure research based, developmental or problem solving in focus.
Research Options
We are always interested in projects that solve real problems at a point in time. Collaboration can take a number of forms, and this will depend on your need, for example:
- Joint R&D project
- Discovery research leading to a PhD or masters qualification either located in the Centre or in the workplace
- A short R&D project with defined a contract
- A feasibility study
- and others, tailored made to suit your situation.
If you have an idea for a project or piece of work to be done - We can help with process improvement, validation impurity detection new product development, basic research, new process monitoring solutions and product characterisation.

We can develop the project scope, and help write the proposal, then set up and manage the project. We work closely with the TU Dublin Technology Transfer Office who manage and advise on intellectual property, product licencing etc.
Analytical Services Provision
We respond to the rhythm of industry in the provision of services to Pharmaceutical API, Food, Chemical, Biopharma, Finished Dosage Formulation companies 12 months of the year. We encourage academic researchers and clients to work with us as we have over 25 years of experience and expertise to offer. We can carry out analysis, characterisation and method development on the following equipment:
Materials Characterisation – Malvern (Particle Size Distribution), Freeman FT4 and Kinexus Malvern (Powder and Liguid rheology), DSC and TGA (thermal profiling)
Chromatography – GC-MS; LC-MS; uHPLC
Spectroscopy – NMR, Near/Mid/Far IR (FT/ATR), Raman, Uv-vis, Graphite Furnace AAS
