- Holly Jenkins (PhD student) – who is investigating the mechanism of copper-based chemotherapeutics under controlled oxygen conditions and whose research is funded by Irish Research Council.
- Erika Mooney (PhD student) – whose research is targeting therapies for gram-negative bacterial infections, with the research being funded by the HEA TU4Dublin Scholarship Programme.
- Palina Bruyek (PhD student) – whose research is co-funded by the Environmental Protection Agency and TU Dublin to develop a novel scavenging & sensing device for biological contaminants in water.
- Mairéad Gallagher (PhD student) – an Irish Research Council funded scholar carrying out studies on metabolites of common antibiotics to prevent antimicrobial resistance.
- Adam Hembrecht (MSc student) – whose research is focused on improving the stability of antibody-based biopharmaceutical drugs, with the project funded by the Presidents Research Award Programme.
- Cían O’Reilly (MSc student) – who is using computational methods to improve the therapeutic potential of new antibiotics to address the antimircobial resistance (AMR) Crisis. His research is funded by the HEA TU4Dublin Scholarship Programme.
- Dean Winder (MSc student) – a Presidents Research Awardee carrying stability studies of a natural food preservative.
- Alexia Genco (Erasmus+ Graduate Internship) – a visiting researcher from HAUTE ÉCOLE LOUVAIN en HAINAUT in Belgium, who is generating antibiotic metabolites by incubation of antibiotics with human and animal P450 liver enzymes for biological testing and biofilm studies.
