The Molecular Design & Synthesis Group was established in 2008 and is based on the TU Dublin Tallaght Campus. It brings together chemists with significant academic and pharmaceutical industry experience in the design and synthesis of small molecules, peptides and metal complexes with a range of applications.
Our primary aim is to design and produce the next generation of molecules for use in medicines and devices that will improve people’s health and quality of life, to scavenge pollutants and minimise waste, thereby creating a safer environment, and to create new materials for use in the next generation of technological and medical devices.
