Translation of technology from a lab or developmental setting to its clinical user environment is an important area that tPOT biomedical researchers focus on. Clinical engineering, materials development, medical device design and analysis, and wearable technology are among the areas of interest for our researchers. Fundamentally, what ties these strands of technology together in the tPOT Research Centre is the user and patient, and the need to understand their needs for this technology to be successful.
