Part of the coordinating team for the Young Women in Technology (YWIT) Programme on the Blanchardstown campus (for 2nd level and primary level girls). Part of the coordinating team for the Coding4Girls Summer Camp (for 2nd level girls). Profiled in recent ezine. One of the founding members of the TU Dublin wide group WITU (Women in Technology United). Lead on WITU sub-team who secured EDI funding last year to run an event which was an Interactive Design Workshop for TU Dublin students 'Celebrating Women in Technology' see poster below. Committee member of the Engineers Ireland Academic Society. Working with Leslie Shoemaker and team on a series of webinars aimed at promotion of women in Engineering, IT, Apprenticeships (webinars open to second level students and our TU Dublin students and staff). Coordinator of Engineering Your Future programme for TY students on Blanchardstown Campus. Last year came together with colleagues in City (Kevin Gaughan) and Tallaght (James Wright) to run a joint TU Dublin EYF programme. Will do same again this year. One of the Academic Advisors for Enactus at TU Dublin, Enactus is a Social Entrepreneurship Student Society. Students put project teams together and can compete in the National Enactus competition. Project teams are mentored by industry representatives.
