Applications for Class Materials are open for students who have not yet applied for Class Materials in 2024/25.

This scheme assists full-time students, registered on courses with high-class material costs- Fine Art, Interior Design, Visual Communications, Architecture, Graphic Design, Architectural Technology, Creative Arts, Photography, Optometry Year 2, Culinary Arts Year 1 & Visual Merchandising.

The assistance awarded is up to €500 per student, subject to eligibility criteria and funding. Applicants are not required to submit receipts when applying for this fund.

The Application form is available below. Eligible students will receive a link to the online application form when it becomes available.

Important note: If you have received a SUSI Grant this year, you are required to submit your full 3 page SUSI Grant Award Letter with your application.

Yes, to be eligible a student must be repeating a minimum of 20 ects or 4 modules. External repeats are ineligible for funding from the SAF.
