Student Volunteering Awards

Get Recognition with an official Student Volunteering Award from TU Dublin

We are keen to ensure that our students who volunteer receive recognition, whether it's a certificate, a medal or trophy for volunteering at the end of the year and we celebrate our student volunteering achievements at our Student Volunteering Awards.

All TU Dublin students are eligible and the awards ceremony for this academic year will take place on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

We look forward to giving students their awards at this special celebration of our students' contribution throughout the year.

Please note that if you are involved in any of the following activities that you are already a volunteer and should qualify for our TU Dublin Pillar of the Community - Volunteering Award:

  • Are you a Society of Sports Club Committee Member?
  • Are you a Class Rep for your course?
  • Are you a Peer Mentor?
  • An Access Student Leader?
  • Are you completing your Gaisce?
  • Are you on the Green Campus Committee?
  • Are you volunteering/fundraising with TU Dublin Students’ Union/TUDSU through RAG or the Welfare Crew or another initiative?
  • Are you involved in another volunteering activity or project at TU Dublin or in your locality? A sports coach with a local team, fundraising for a cause, meals on wheels or a charity shop assistant?

If any of the above apply to you - please visit www.studentvolunteer.ie and create a dashboard and log your hours and get you TU Dublin Pillar of the Community - Volunteering Award:

  • 20 hours of volunteering = Bronze TU Dublin Volunteering Medal
  • 40 hours of volunteering = Silver TU Dublin Volunteering Medal
  • 60 hours of volunteering = Gold TU Dublin Volunteering Medal
