Our Culture

The TU Dublin Culture Toolkit was launched in October 23. The toolkit consists of: 

1. Staff Charter:  

The TU Dublin Staff Charter is about embodying our university values of Excellence, Inclusion, Impact and Respect, in our behaviours and shaping our culture, a ‘Culture that Cares’. 

2. Meeting, Email and Shared Workspace Etiquette Guidelines:  

These guidelines will allow us to create a culture and working environment that is inclusive and supportive for all our colleagues.  

3. Inclusive Language Guidelines:  

 The Inclusive Language Guidelines will empower our teams to comprehend the impact of language in fostering an inclusive culture. 

4. Embedding the Culture Toolkit: 

The EE and HR teams are working to incorporate our values and the behaviours that exemplify them throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, development and retention right through to retirement. The Employee Engagement Team run workshops for staff, leaders and new joiners throughout the year and have also made resources available for teams to use. The Toolkit is being incorporated into a number of development programme. It will also be included into competency frameworks as they are developed as well as exploring options for staff recognition.
