Overview: Core HR is the University's Staff Records system.

Target Group: Staff members who are required to record attendance (clocking in/out) and submit leave requests.

Pre-requisites: Basic keyboard/mouse and Windows knowledge and access to a PC.

At the end of this training session, you will be able to:

  • Log in to Core HR.
  • Access the policies and procedures which govern staff requests.
  • Record time and attendances.
  • Submit leave requests.
  • Update your profile with qualifications and membership of professional bodies.

  • View Candidate Briefs
  • Apply for positions within TU Dublin
  • Print and submit applications

Target Group: Managers who approve staff requests and submit requisitions for new staff members.

Pre-requisite: Be a manager who needs to use Core HR for Approvals and New Staff Requests.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of this training event, you will be able to:

  • Log in to Core HR
  • Access the policies and procedures which govern staff requests and the recruitment of new staff members.
  • Navigate the Dashboards (Employee and Manager).
  • Approve or reject leave requests, missed clockings and expense claims.
  • Create New Staff Requests (SRFs)
