Transport & Parking
A dedicated TU Dublin shuttle bus serves the university campus throughout the academic year. Thirteen round trips each day run from Coolmine train station, serving selected stops en route including Blanchardstown Shopping Centre where you can connect with Dublin Bus or Go Ahead services.
The shuttle costs €1 per trip or €5 for an unlimited weekly ticket, or you can use your Student Leap Card. ( Note: Leap Cards can now be topped up on the Shuttle Bus )
Our Shuttle Bus is free between the National Aquatic Centre and the university campus.

Dublin Bus operates a number of routes in the Blanchardstown area, serving the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. The 139 orbital bus route operates between Naas and Blanchardstown and connects TU Dublin Blanchardstown to Naas, Sallins, Clane, Rathcoffey, Maynooth, and Leixlip. The route also includes Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
There are nine services each way, seven days a week, with first departures at 07:00 and last departures at 22:30.

Travelling by car
TU Dublin Blanchardstown is located close to the Junction of the M50 and the N3.

Annual Permits normally cost €80. Permits purchased after 1st January cost €50. All permits expire on 31st August.
Clamping in operation between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. FREE Parking (in designated parking areas ) outside of these times.
Parking in disabled parking spaces is free at all times to vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Parking Badge.
Travelling by train
The nearest train stations to the campus are Coolmine, Castleknock and Clonsilla, all located on the Dublin/Maynooth/Longford/M3 Parkway Route. For train timetables and routes, visit www.irishrail.ie

Travelling by bike
TU Dublin promotes cycling for students and staff. There’s a good network of cycle lanes on routes around Blanchardstown and on campus. Covered bicycle parking, showers and drying-room facilities are available.
