Photography and Filming

 

Photography and filming for events must be declared in the risk assessment carried out as part of the event planning process.  

 

If you are a staff member planning an event likely to attract media interest, the Communications & Public Affairs team can organise an agency photographer who can release images in real-time to relevant media. 

 

If the requirement is for photographs to mark the occasion for use on University media and to share with partner organisations, the team will book an appropriate photographer who will provide the images within a day.  If you require a videographer to film proceedings, this can be arranged.  In these instances, the costs will be borne by the event organiser.
