Across a range of disciplines, the recently constructed laboratories throughout Grangegorman provide cutting edge spaces to demonstrate and educate groups in health, science and beyond.  

As these spaces often require the use of additional specialist equipment, the hiring of these venues must also be discussed with the relevant schools or faculties who oversee them. 

Our Grangegorman Campus plays host to several creative studios. These include: 

• Fine Art Studio 
• Photography and Filming Studios 
• Dance Studios 
• Craftwork Studios

Central Quad plays host to the Culinary Arts department within TU Dublin. As a result, the building contains a student restaurant for training as well as training kitchens, pastry kitchens and tiered theatres with cooking equipment for demonstrations. 

Please give as much advance notice as possible when wishing to secure one of these spaces to ensure health and safety requirements can be properly arranged for using any equipment.

The black box theatre plays host to many performance-based events within TU Dublin. Equipped with a control room and full lighting and sound equipment, this space has the ability to add high quality production elements to any event.

Fold away chairs mean the ground floor space can be turned into a large flat area where attendees can move around freely if tiered seating is not suitable for your event. Balconies wrap around the stage for further standing room or to be used in performances.

Recital rooms in the East Quad can be hired as inspiring performance spaces or conference venues for smaller gatherings. The spaces include a tiered theatre with a smaller capacity than the Concert Hall, as well as medium sized rehearsal spaces and private practice rooms.

Please include in the enquiry form a request for access to specific equipment such as the use of musical instruments or sound equipment. For internal enquiries, please refer to the Event Protocols to confirm which university departments need to be informed for renting these spaces.
