A stunning outdoor location, the golden bandstand is located next to the greenway hub. 

It can comfortably fit 10-25 individuals depending on your event. While being an outdoor space, the bandstand does provide shelter from the rain.  

The bandstand can be used as a place for public music performances, outdoor exercise classes and more.  

There are several large foyer spaces across Grangegorman’s campus. These spaces can be used as showcases for art, as well as being rented as welcome areas for events held in larger venues such as the concert hall and black box theatre. 

Please note that foyers are part of larger public spaces on the university campus. During term time and weekdays, there may be others using the areas near the foyers. For this reason foyers are not recommended as venues to host guest speakers. When filling out an enquiry form for the use of foyers, make sure to include any additional requirements you will be considering for the space such as hiring caterers or using AV equipment.

With sprawling views of the capital and the Wicklow mountains as your backdrop, Grangegorman’s roof garden, located on the top floor of the East Quad, provides an impressive venue to host your guests. It is important to consider layout requirements for your event as the roof garden features several planted features and benches which cannot be moved. 

Please note, due to the nature of this venue, its use is subject to weather restrictions. Security must also be hired for the rental of this venue to ensure health and safety requirements are met.

With its sprawling grounds complete with grass fields and paved squares, Grangegorman is perfect for small outdoor concerts, markets and food truck pop-ups to name just a few examples. The summer months are a perfect opportunity to make use of the largely unoccupied campus space for private gatherings, and pop-ups can be installed throughout term time to connect with our large staff and student base.
