About Aungier Street

Our Aungier Street campus is built on the site as the former Jacob’s factory a historical site in Dublin 2, within a short walking distance of St Stephens Green and is extremely accessible by public transport from both sides of the city. The campus extends 25,833 sqm in total and houses the largest business school in Ireland.

Filled with an array of classrooms and creative spaces, as well as a spacious paved courtyard and bright foyer, our Aungier Street campus can comfortably host events of all sizes and purposes.

From tiered seating to flat rooms, different layouts and capacities are available for your precise needs across Aungier Street’s selection of classrooms. Capacity for rooms typically ranges from 20-70 attendees, but there are some larger lecture theatres available to hire for events with larger attendee numbers.

Our regular classrooms are typically reserved for teaching during term time. Current university staff can reserve most rooms using Syllabus+ and book the room directly from there. Please take note of any stakeholders who must be informed of events in these rooms through our Event Protocols page for staff.

For external enquiries about classroom hire, please use our booking form.

Aungier Street's foyer is a bright and airy space where staff and students can meet. Small events such as brand pop-ups can be hosted here. For larger events taking place elsewhere on campus, the foyer can also be hired as a space for checking guests into the event.

Please note the foyer cannot be closed off for private events during regular term-time weekdays to facilitate staff and students moving through the building. Please note in our booking form any particular requests such as sectioning off the foyer or using AV equipment.

Aungier Street Foyer

The courtyard is located behind Aungier Street’s building, with a small, raised platform leading down into a large, paved space. Petting zoos, brand pop-ups and small music performances are just a few examples of the events that have been hosted at this venue.

Private events can be hosted in the courtyard outside of term time, or if you would like to connect with our staff and students, speak to our team about hosting your event during term times.

As this is an outdoor venue, events are subject to weather conditions.
