Postgraduate Programmes

The School of Mechanical Engineering currently offers multiple Masters Degree programmes, which can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis.

Students completing the programme full-time will do so over 1 academic year commencing in September and will complete two semesters of study on various modules in Mechanical Engineering and in areas such as Innovation, Knowledge Management, and Research Skills. Students will then undertake and complete a Research Thesis over the period May to August following completion of their Semester 2 modules.

Students completing the programme part-time will do so over 2-3 academic years commencing in September.

This Masters programme is accredited by Engineers Ireland for Professional Award to C.Eng.
