The School is one of ten Autodesk Lighthouse Institutions across the UK and Ireland and the only Lighthouse Institution within Ireland. 

As Ireland's only Autodesk “Lighthouse Institution”, free access provided to all Autodesk software, including those not usually accessible by other education institutions.

Aaccess to internship/research opportunities at Autodesk technology centres, and direct access to events and experts in the company, are other benefits provided to the School.

Additionally, Autodesk has provided two desktop CNC machines for prototyping research as well as a series of training events in CAD and CAM. Recently staff attended both the opening of Autodesk’s EU headquarters in Dublin and an education event in their Headquarters in San Francisco.
