Lecturing in Spatial Planning

Elaine is a Spatial Planner, Urban Designer and Environmental Scientist and has worked in private practice since 2009. Specialising in masterplanning and development planning, particularly large-scale transport, recreational and commercial developments, she has a particular interest in community involvement in the development design process. 

Elaine holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Spatial Planning and PG Dip in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes and an MSc in Urban Development and Regeneration from TU Dublin. She is director of Ireland first Social Enterprise Planning firm, CommuniTEE Planning, who work with community groups to improve engagement in planning.
