Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI)

The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) provides professional accreditation for the TU Dublin School of Architecture, Building and Environment TU831 BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology programme.

There has been a long established relationship between the TU Dublin School of Architecture and the RIAI since the establishment of accreditation in 1974.  Staff from the School have served on the RIAI Council, the Board of Architectural Education, and numerous other sub-committees and working groups with the RIAI.  Staff from the School have also served on many RIAI Visiting Boards to other programmes in Architecture and Architectural Technology.

The School has also been involved with the RIAI in developing its document defining professional competences for practice as an Architect and Architectural Technologist and the School has hosted the RIAI Technologist Entry Examination for many years.
