General Description:

Colette Kirwan is an assistant lecturer in the School of Computer Science at TU Dublin. She received a PhD in Computer Science from Dublin City University in 2021 after completing her research in the areas of Computer Science Education and Computational Thinking. She also holds a MSc. in Computing. She is an experienced professional with excellent teaching, research, and project management skills. She has 11+ years of experience in the computing industry (Snr Software Engineer), 11+ years in academia with 9 years in research, and 2 years with a Research Funding organisation.  Her teaching primarily focuses on Programming and Software Development.
