Research with Faculty of Computing Digital and Data

At the Faculty of Computing, Digital, and Data at TU Dublin, we are dedicated to research that drives innovation and shapes the future of technology. Our faculty brings together a dynamic community of researchers, students, and industry partners, working collaboratively to advance knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

Roisin Faherty, the Head of Research and Innovation at TU Dublin, plays a pivotal role in fostering a research-driven culture.

Meanwhile, Dympna O’Sullivan, the lead of the Digital Futures Research Hub, oversees the exploration of how to study, create, and apply digital technologies for the benefit of individuals, society, the economy, and the environment.

"The Digital Futures Research Hub is an interdisciplinary research hub that explores how to study, create, and apply digital technologies with positive impacts for individuals, society, the economy, and the environment."

The hub is central to TU Dublin's approach to addressing the challenges and opportunities of the digital age. With a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, the hub's research encompasses everything from developing cutting-edge algorithms and systems to investigating the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies.

Through these efforts, the Digital Futures Research Hub and the Faculty aim to create impactful solutions that empower industry, enhance education, and contribute to a more connected and data-driven world.
