About

The School of Enterprise Computing and Digital Transformation in TU Dublin Tallaght Campus offers four undergraduate courses, all of which produce highly skilled and industry ready graduates, capable of going straight into work in the ICT sector. The first year in computing is a common year for all students and in second year they specialise by taking one of four specialisations: software development, IT management, computing with language or computing with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The job prospects for computing graduates are exceptional at the moment but another advantage of studying at the Tallaght Campus is that we have a project mentoring programme with IBM, Bank of America and Tallaght University Hospital. We also offer work placements whereby 3rd year students work in industry for a minimum of 6 months. Companies include AWS, AIB, SAP, Workday, Dell, Guidewire, Ocuco, Nostra, Arkphire and EirEvo. The placement provides students an excellent learning facility, but also creates realistic career opportunities, with almost all graduates being hired after graduation.

The School of Enterprise Computing and Digital Transformation in Tallaght also runs undergraduate and postgraduate part-time courses. The undergraduate courses cover a wide range of specialisations, at all levels (from 6 to 8). The taught master programme has software architecture, infrastructure and DevOps specialisations.
