Advice and support is available for anyone struggling with Computing. Please email clc@tudublin.ie if you need any assistance.

The Computing Learning Centre is looking for a number of Computing Tutors to work with students over the Winter semester months, from September to December 2024. These tutors will assist students who need additional assistance understanding topics, completing their labs, or preparing for their assessments.

Tutors will be current students at any year of their programme who have strong programming skills and who have performed well in their own assessments and are therefore in a good position to help other students. Tutoring other students offers valuable personal rewards. Additionally, besides enhancing your CV, this is an excellent opportunity to trial the role.

If you wish to apply for this role, please complete this form.

"It's really helping me so far, and I'm feeling much more confident in this subject. Overall, it's been a really positive experience"

"The sessions have been fantastic, I am learning how to actually think like a programmer."

"My tutor has been very helpful in my understanding of the different topics we are covering in class."

"My mentor was amazing, helped me throughout everything I asked for and he would never disappoint, every session I learned something new and therefore became a better version of myself with more confidence in the repeat exam I took."
