Since the 1970's the Marketing Institute Ireland (MII) and the School of Marketing have had a close working relationship, initially at the undergraduate level and we kept keep pace with changes in the profession and professional education. As partners we have worked closely on the design, development and delivery of a suite of part-time executive post-graduate programmes aimed at combining the needs of Marketing practice and the Marketing profession with academic rigour. Partnering with the MII is a tangible expression of the School strategy and positioning as ‘Close to Business and the Business Professions’, enhancing our ability to produce work-ready graduates.
Our suite of programmes targets 3 main segments in the marketing education market. The conversion market - potential students who have a qualification in a non-business discipline and seek a business/marketing qualification. The ‘specialist’ market– candidates who already have a business qualification and who wish to do a ‘deep dive’ into a narrower area, for example digital marketing or analytics. The continuing professional development market – candidates working in the marketing area and looking to upskill, extend their knowledge and keep abreast of developments and trends in the discipline and practice of marketing.
