In my current role as Lecturer in the School of Management, People and Organisation I teach a range of Business modules including Business Research Methods and Marketing. I’m also Programme Coordinator for the BSc Human Resource Management (TU906) where I’m responsible for all quality assurance and enhancement processes related to the delivery of the programme. I also oversee and coordinate research Dissertations on both the BSc in Human Resource Management and MSc Human Resource Management and I’m dedicated to guiding students through their research projects and in shaping the next generation of HR professionals.

I started my academic career in 2004, primarily in the domain of Marketing and my publications in this area have received extensive academic recognition. One of my most influential papers is a research methods paper on structural equation modelling fit indices which has accrued Scopus citations in excess of 7,500 to date. Another significant research achievement has been the citation of one of my papers on servicescapes in a widely respected, prominent global textbook on Services Marketing. In more recent years, my research has segued into the HR discipline with publications covering topics such as the impact of AI on the future of work appearing in the European Journal of Education and Training and others focusing on topics such as HR analytics presented at conferences.

I’ve supervised in excess of 60 MSc dissertations and I’ve also supervised to completion at doctoral level. I’m currently supervising a PhD student who is studying the inverted male gaze through the lens of social comparison theory.

I welcome proposals from both prospective research collaborators and PhD students.
