The School of Management, People and Organisations, via Bill O’Mahony, is a member of the ‘New Initiatives and Challenges in Europe (NICE) Network’, which is an inter-university network consisting of over 30 partner institutions from countries in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.
Its members meet annually to exchange ideas, develop joint projects, conduct multilateral research programmes and forge long-term partnerships.
Benefits to the School of MPO of being a NICE Network member include:
- Network Enlargement: Leveraging the established relationship and further strengthening ties between the TU Dublin School of MPO and the 30 universities from across the globe that form the NICE Network.
- Multilateral Research Programs: Explore opportunities for joint projects, collaborative research initiatives, and the development of long-term partnerships that will benefit students and staff from the School of MPO, Faculty of Business and TU Dublin.
- Collaborative Funding Projects: The current GETM4 (€1.5m) and previous GETM3 (€900k) projects have origins from the NICE Network with partners including Northumbria University and the University of Ljubljana.
- Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaborative initiatives by providing the opportunity to engage with representatives from over 30 global partner institutions.
- Enhanced Internationalisation: Being a member of the NICE Network aims to enhance the internationalisation efforts of the TU Dublin School of MPO.
