The School is delighted to announce that TU5502 Certificate in Digital Enterprise has been approved for Springboard funding in 2021-22. We are delighted to be able to secure this funding for eligible applicants, which provides them with a 90% fee subsidy on the usual programme fee.
A series of webinars were organised on Sustainability. The webinars focused on discussing the impact on business and the future trends in the area of Sustainability. Students across TU Dublin joined the webinar to listen to industry experts.
A team of TU Dublin language lecturers to promote languages courses our University created a new platform. It is aimed at Secondary Level students.
Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR) won the Best Public Service Organisation award in the Fingal Dublin Business Excellence and Corporate Social Responsibility Awards on Friday 15th November 2019.
There were over 200 applications across all categories which were narrowed down by a customer experience specialist consultancy company to 80 finalists on the night. In the Best Public Service Organisation category, STLR TU Dublin was shortlisted against Dublin City University and Fingal Local Enterprise Office.
Fingal Dublin Chamber declared STLR to be the winner in the category.
The judges commented that STLR is “innovative and provides a much needed framework” for students’ development.
What does STLR deliver?
- An authenticated (by the Registrar) record of the attainment of ‘transferable skills’ much sought after by employers (Emerging, 2017).
- Transformative learning opportunities to provide a pathway for students to develop these skills.
