The TU Dublin Retail Research Unit brings together a number of staff from the School of Retail and Services Management. As well as its main mission, focussed on academic research, the Unit has amassed considerable experience in conducting retailer client research, consultancy and sectoral competitiveness analysis. Previous work conducted in the Unit include national and European projects involving national market sizing, supply-chain competitiveness and managing cultural diversity within retailing in Europe.
The Unit has expertise in the following disciplinary areas for which it offers a range of research, consultancy and training solutions:

- Retail Location Analysis
- Suppy-Chain Management
- Store Branding, Environment Design & Atmospherics
- Performance Measurement and Analysis
- Public Policy Research on the Competitiveness of the Sector
As the foremost educational authority on retail in Ireland, we are pleased to count a wide range of organisations as training and educational partners of the School of Retail and Services Management. Organisations such as IBEC/Retail Ireland, GS1 Ireland, European Retail Academy, Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland, BWG Foods, Dublin Airport Authority, Xtravision,Hickey’s Pharmacies are some of those with which the School has ongoing relationships which influence the research agenda of DIT Retail Research Unit.
