Undergraduate Programmes
Graduates of the BBs(Hons) in Accounting & Finance and BSc Accounting get full exemption from CA Proficiency 1 examinations of Chartered Accountants Ireland subject to performance in specific modules in their programmes.
Graduates of the PgDip Accounting also get a full exemption from CA Proficiency 1 examinations of Chartered Accountants Ireland subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Postgraduate Programmes
Graduates of the MSc Accounting get a full exemption from CA Proficiency 2 examinations of Chartered Accountants Ireland subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Undergraduate Programmes
Graduates of the BBs(Hons) in Accounting & Finance and BSc Accounting obtain exemptions up to and inclusive of the operational papers (E1, P1, F1 and the operational case study).
Graduates of the BBs in Accounting & Finance ( level 7) obtain exemptions up to and inclusive of the operational papers (specifically E1, P1, F1)).
Postgraduate Programmes
Graduates of the PgDip Accounting get exemptions from modules C01 to C05 inclusive and P1, F1 and F2 of the CIMA syllabus subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Graduates of the MSc in Accounting and MBS in International Accounting are eligible to take the CIMA gateway route. This means graduates take the CIMA Gateway exam (Management Level Case Study) and once graduates pass this exam they get 11 exemptions, allowing progression straight to the strategic level of the CIMA Professional Qualification.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Undergraduate Programmes
Graduates of the BBs(Hons) in Accounting & Finance and BSc Accounting get exemptions from modules all F1, F2 (Financial Accounting, Management accounting, Taxation), P1 Corporate Reporting, Managerial Finance, Auditing and Corporate Laws and Governance of the CPA syllabus subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Graduates of the BBs in Accounting & Finance (Level 7) 6 exemptions from the ACCA syllabus subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Postgraduate Programmes
Graduates of the PgDip Accounting get exemptions from modules all F1, F2 (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation), P1 (Managerial Finance and Auditing) of the CPA syllabus subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Graduates of the MSc in Accounting get exemptions from modules all F1, F2 (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Information systems and Taxation), P1 (Corporate Reporting, Managerial Finance and Auditing) of the CPA syllabus subject to performance in specific modules in their programme.
Graduates of the MSc Applied Accounting get full exemptions from all levels of the CPA syllabus (F1, F2, P1, P2 subjects) subject to performance in specific modules on their programme.
