Message from the Dean
Welcome to the Faculty of Business at TU Dublin. Our community of more than 6,000 students and 300 academics are known for our commitment to excellent teaching and learning, world-class research, and an unrivalled connection to industry and society.
Our programmes span all levels and lengths, from short CPD courses, undergraduate degrees, apprenticeships, masters, and PhD research. Our faculty and six schools provide a broad variety of career-focused education.
Our students will experience a practice-focused and research informed classroom, with professionally recognised and accredited curricula along a range of lifelong learning opportunities. We collaborate with businesses, the community and society to make sure that our graduates acquire the abilities and expertise to thrive in occupations across the domains of Business and beyond. We pride ourselves on commitment to small class sizes where you get to know your lecturers and your fellow students on first names basis. You will work on real world live projects linked to industry and case studies that bring real world challenges into the classroom.
We understand that the world is changing and that there are new and growing challenges including sustainability, climate change and the digital transformation of the workplace. We also know that education and research are important in overcoming these challenges. Our University and Faculty is committed to being a beacon for sustainability. We will address these challenges through our strategic plan, our research and innovation, our engagement with industry and society, and by preparing our students with the skills, knowledge and professional know-how to succeed in the workplace of today and tomorrow.
