Study
Language Studies, Faculty of Arts and Humanities at TU Dublin, provides many opportunities to study languages as well as a range of related topics in culture & society, film and literature. Languages on offer include Chinese, English, French, German, Irish, Italian & Spanish. Study abroad is an exciting and required feature of many programmes. It is possible, for example, to study languages to an advanced level in combination with business and tourism on dual discipline programmes. Language study is also offered as a core requirement on some programmes in Law or Computer Studies.
Students can also study language as an option or elective and have opportunity to work or study abroad for a full academic year or a semester on a wide range of other programmes.

Language is offered on programmes in Business and International Business, Management, Marketing & Digital Marketing and Hospitality & Tourism Management. Here, students can study at Level 7 (3 years) and/or at Level 8 (4 years), thanks to the ‘ladder’ approach to education at TU Dublin.
