Early Years Music
Our Early Years Music programme emphasizes holistic development whereby each child has the opportunity to nurture and develop musical, physical, conceptual and social skills appropriate to their age. Children learn through active music-making in small groups. Classes are held in the East Quad at TU Dublin Conservatoire.
No auditions are required, and places are offered on a 'first-come, first-served' basis for new students.
We offer the following classes:
• Kids Club 1 – for children in Year 2 of ECCE (final year of pre-school)
• Kids Club 2 – for children in Junior Infants
• Pre-Instrumental – for children in Senior Infants and younger children in 1st class
Applications for 2025 –26 are now open with a closing date of Friday 28th February 2025. Please note that late applications will not be accepted.

Early Years Music Programme - Calendar 2024/25
Semester 1: Monday 9th September to Friday 20th December
• Saturday 26th October – Friday 1st November: Midterm break. (Classes continue as normal on Saturday 2nd November.)
Semester 2: Monday 6th January to Saturday 31st May
• Monday 3rd February: St. Brigid’s Day Public Holiday. University closed. (Classes continue as normal on Saturday 1st February.)
• Tuesday 18 – Friday 21 February: Midterm break. (Classes continue as normal on Monday 17th and Saturday 22nd February.)
• Monday 17th March: St. Patrick’s Day, Public Holiday. University closed. (No classes on Saturday 15th March.)
• Monday 14th – Friday 25th April: Spring break. (Classes resume Monday 28th April.)
• Monday 5th May: Public Holiday. University closed. (Classes continue as normal on Saturday 3rd May.)
• Saturday 31st May: Final day for musicianship classes.
