Dr Dominic Dillane

Interim Recovery Lead
In February 2025, Dr Dominic Dillane was appointed to the University Executive Team as Interim Recovery Lead for TU Dublin.
Dominic holds a BSc Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent, Canterbury, an MSc in Statistics from University College Dublin (UCD) and a PhD in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) He commenced his lecturing career at DIT Cathal Brugha St. in 1998, lecturing on statistics and data analysis in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, becoming Head of School in 2011 Dominic is currently a member of the Council of the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation and served on the Board of Failte Ireland from 2003 to 2013 He also served as a Board member, Vice President, President and Chairman of the Board of the International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators He also served as a staff representative on the DIT Governing Body and on the Board of the Grangegorman Development Agency. He was also an active member of the Irish Statistical Association and a committee member of the International Society of Forecasters.
