Find out more about SDG 12 while practicing your French! We have two lessons to get you started. Both are set in the context of the circular economy with a zero-waste approach to consumption. 

If you are a learner of French, select a lesson based on your interest or your level of French. As well as vocabulary and comprehension exercises, you will also find some topics for discussion. Find someone you can practice with and delve into the topic!

In the first lesson, a family changes its purchasing of food and cooking habits as a step towards zero food waste. A TU Dublin student reflects on food wastage in France. The lesson is aimed at learners of French. It is pitched at level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

In the second lesson, the principles of the circular economy are presented in the context of the car manufacturing process. We find out how the French car manufacturer Renault is changing its model to a more sustainable way of manufacturing cars. The lesson is aimed at learners of French. It is pitched at level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
